Facilities / Rugrats Playgroup

Our playgroup is parent/carer run and we meet each Thursday morning 10am – 12pm catering for children from babies to 5 years of age.  We have a great space for the children to play and interact with other children and adults.  Playgroup is a great way for parents to form a network of friends and exchange ideas and support each other. What we do In the first hour the children are able to choose from a range of activities that include puzzles, blocks, farm animals, riding bikes, sand play, home corner and playdough.  These activities encourage the development of gross and fine motor skills, language development and sharing and co-operation. Children then sit to share a morning tea of fruit, cheese and a drink.  All parents take turns at organising a simple craft activity for the children such as painting, threading or pasting. Before home time we all sit down for story time and songs, we sing our goodbye song and say goodbye to our friends. Fees Term fee $30 Annual fee for Membership and Insurance to Playgroup Victoria $25.00 or $15.00 with a concession card. Come along for a free try Parents/carers are more than welcome to come along and try playgroup for a couple of weeks before deciding whether to join.
